European Union

The European Union (EU) is the union of 27 European Member States with a common single market and a harmonised regulatory framework also in the digital domain — including GDPR, Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2), Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), Debian Security Advisory (DSA) and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). For security teams that means: requirements are cross-border, enforcement happens nationally.
