NCSC NZ
National Cyber Security Centre (New Zealand)
Nationales Cybersicherheitszentrum Neuseelands
The NCSC NZ is New Zealand's national cyber security centre, part of the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) in Wellington. Since 2023 it has taken over the tasks of CERT NZ and publishes alerts on vulnerabilities that are actively exploited or about to be.
History & facts. By merging CERT NZ and the NCSC, New Zealand combines its warning service and incident handling in one place; the former address cert.govt.nz now redirects to ncsc.govt.nz. The content is Crown copyright under CC BY 4.0 and may be reused with attribution, including commercially.
Outlook & recommendation. The alerts are concise, name affected versions and concrete measures and often appear jointly with partner agencies. As an additional source they confirm when a vulnerability is being attacked worldwide.
