The European Judicial Network (EJN) is a network of national contact points that facilitates judicial cooperation in criminal matters between European Union (EU) Member States — in particular for mutual legal assistance and the execution of orders such as the European Investigation Order (EIO). Not an investigative body but a facilitator and information point.
