Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

ICT is the umbrella term for information and communication technology, i.e. hardware, software, networks and the services running on them. It is central to the European Union (EU) regulation Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA): financial entities must manage their ICT risk, report ICT incidents and oversee ICT third-party service providers. In German it is called IKT.
